Historic First Lutheran Church 150th Anniversary Celebration
Sunday, September 11, 2:00 p.m.
You are invited to celebrate history by attending the annual service at the church at 711 Pleasant View Road.
Learn about the beginnings of this church and the work being done to preserve this historical landmark, built in 1866.
Church Service:
— Rev. Ken Michaelis, twice-great-grandson of founder Johann (John) Voss presiding
— Music by Madison Mäennerchor (www.madisonmaennerchor.org)
— To mark this day, a photograph will be taken after the service of those in attendance, like the above!
Celebration immediately following service:
Kalscheur Park, Pine Bluff – 3734 County Road P – 7.4 miles west of the church
Great facility for kids to play and adults to share stories & pictures – bring your stories and pictures!!

German themed catered buffet by reservation. Serving starts at 4:30 p.m.
$15.00/person: Catered by Stoddard’s Meat Market: pig roast – carved on site, baked chicken, German potato salad, sauerkraut, green salad, coffee or lemonade

$5 any age: Hot dog, macaroni & cheese, tomatoes, dessert, beverage
